World Aids Day celebrated by staff and their families

They rejoiced for the news released by UNAIDS Epidemic Update 2009 stating that new HIV infections are down by 17% -most progress seen in sub-Saharan Africa.Through testimonies, music, dances and speeches, the attendants were sensitized to extend solidarity to all peo¬ple who are living with HIV and AIDS so that they can live free of stigma and discrimination.

A voluntary counseling and testing, demonstration of the use of condoms and Children quiz on AIDS were on rendezvous that day.

The theme of this year in Rwanda is: "Condom as a means of dual protection. Let's talk about it, let's access it, let's use it: a fundamental right for all!"
