They rejoiced for the news released by UNAIDS Epidemic Update 2009 stating that new HIV infections are down by 17% -most progress seen in sub-Saharan Africa.Through testimonies, music, dances and speeches, the attendants were sensitized to extend solidarity to all peo¬ple who are living with HIV and AIDS so that they can live free of stigma and discrimination.
